Coach Jacqueline
Dancing since the age of three, Jacqueline Hawtin has trained extensively in jazz, tap, ballet, modern, contemporary, musical theatre, and gymnastics. Her passion for dance led her to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, where she studied under some of the industry’s most profound choreographers and trained in the Graham technique.
Following graduation, Jacqueline performed with several dance companies across New York City before earning a coveted spot with Cirque Le Masque, touring the United States and captivating audiences nationwide. In 2009, she relocated to North Carolina to become the lead dance instructor at Pops Studio of Dance, where she inspired and trained the next generation of dancers. That same year, her talent and charisma earned her a position on the NBA Charlotte Bobcats Dance Team — the Ladycats — for the 2009–2010 season.
Today, Jacqueline continues to share her artistry and love for dance while balancing a successful career offstage. By day, she works as a licensed mortgage loan officer, helping individuals and families achieve their dreams of homeownership — proving that passion and professionalism can go hand in hand.
