Dance has been a lifelong passion for me, beginning at the age of 3 and evolving into competitive dancing by the age of 6. Throughout my formative years, I trained extensively in a variety of styles including ballet, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, and lyrical, competing through age 18.

I continued my education at the University of South Carolina, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Arts with a focus on Early Childhood Education. During my time there, I proudly represented the university as a member of the Carolina Dance Team for three years.

After graduation, I spent several years teaching preschool and also served as a Dance Education substitute at the elementary level, blending my passions for both teaching and the arts. In 2016, I trained at Millennium Dance Complex while  completing my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at CorePower Yoga in Studio City, California, further expanding my skill set in movement and mindfulness.

In 2018, I launched a cheer and dance program at The Citadel in Charleston, where I coached for two years. Building on that momentum, I became the Head Coach of the cheer and dance program at Oceanside Collegiate Academy in Mount Pleasant from 2020-2025. Under my leadership, the team performed at school and sporting events and successfully competed in SCDA competitions.

Teaching and mentoring children of all ages has always been at the heart of my journey. Dance has instilled in me a deep sense of discipline, respect, and dedication, values I strive to pass on to my students. My purpose as a coach and mentor is to inspire and shape the next generation to thrive not only in dance but in life.

When I'm not coaching or working at The Pharmacy Club, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family and support system, my husband Nate and our 4 kids, Zay, Nyla, Sariah and Fallon!
